Another Resident Evil title is set to join the Apple family. 2019’s Resident Evil 2 remake is set to hit iPhone, iPad and Mac on 31 December 2024.
This announcement comes courtesy of a Japanese press release (via Siliconera), which reveals that the game will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone 16 series, as well as iPad or Mac devices with an M1 chip or newer. A free trial will be available for potential players to test out the game before buying.
The game will feature native touch controls, Bluetooth controller support, and accessibility options like the ability to enable automatic shooting for players who have difficulty with the game’s touch controls.
